Philanthropy
The Leadership Education Association of Families and Friends supports the development of George Wythe Institute Canada (GWIC). Each year, we host events that build great leaders and bring us closer to having a fully functioning Leadership Education campus in southern Alberta. We invite you to join us in this wonderful endeavour.
Our first annual Benefit Gala was held on September 12, 2008 in the beautiful Remington Centre in Cardston, AB and was a successful evening. Ninety-nine people were present to enjoy a sumptuous meal, an inspiring program around the theme of The Dreamgiver, original musical selections–vocal, violin and piano–and speeches by George Wythe University Canadian scholarship recipient John Dueck, GWIC Board Chair Allan Burton, and GWU President Shanon Brooks.
Our next Benefit Gala is scheduled for October 16th, 2009 in the Silk Purse, Cardston, Alberta.
