The Leadership Education Association of Families and Friends would love to help you grow a Leadership Education community in your part of the world! Although we are still building prototype communities in Alberta, Canada and developing this website as a tool for LEAFF members, we are eager to provide support for others who feel the call the gather people together to study, create classic experiences, build friendships, and prepare to change the world in wonderful ways.
We recommend that you begin building your local chapter of LEAFF by inviting others to read and discuss Dr. DeMille’s book A Thomas Jefferson Education: Teaching a Generation of Leaders for the Twenty-first Century. It is a great introduction to the philosophy and methods of Leadership Education based on the five pillars of classics, mentors, simulations, field experience, and God/Truth. Dr. DeMille’s book is available through Classic Books as well as Amazon.com.
